| Meredith Brooks
is our main Mastering Engineer. She has been Mastering for
twenty-plus years, many of which as Senior Mastering Engineer with
CBS Records & Sony Music and now, for the last twelve years, at
Soundwarp. Her experience ranges from analogue tape editing, through the birth of digital audio, to CD and DVD. Meredith Brooks is, without a doubt, one of the most experienced Mastering Engineers in this country. Meredith’s credits include Midnight Oil, Mick Jagger, Big Audio Dynamite II, Bruce Cale, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Mental As Anything, Bernie Lynch, Jim Kelly, Rita Hunter, Ralph Pyl, Bob Barnard, “Babe” Soundtrack, Celibate Rifles, Bruce Mathiske, Severed Heads, “X”, Jeremy Donovan, Anthony McGloin, Madison McKoy, to name but a few... Bill Syratt, Audio Engineer and Technical Specialist, has been around the industry just as long. In addition to Mastering, Compilation and Restoration, he is responsible for keeping Soundwarp, and the clients’ projects, at the forefront of technology and critical quality control. Bill’s background includes Broadcast and Studio electronics, recording and live mixing. As Live Engineer, Bill has mixed hundreds of performances by such artists as Eva Trout, Welcome Mat, Chris Bailey, Frente, Crystal Set, Billy Baxter, Smudge, The Clouds, Killjoys, Toys Went Berserk, Peso Kim, and many, many others. |
